Effective ways to stop people doing annoying things
We’ve all been there, someone does something that is really bloody annoying but you have no idea how to stop them from doing it. Well here are some of my suggestions that could assist in achieving your goal in getting them to cease their operations.
As an example you often see a group of people saying that’s PC Gone Mad when others try to call out some type of sexism, racism or homophobia. How do we stop these people from saying it’s PC Gone Mad, you ask. Well it’s very simple, you just have to say that the phrase “PC Gone Mad” is in fact a Māori phrase. This will then stop those people from using that phrase because they suddenly find themselves unable to pronounce it any more or due to their bigotry they dry retch in an attempt to say it.
What about the situation where you’re walking behind someone and you’re annoyed that they are blocking your way? Just do what Donald Trump did to the Prime Minister of Montenegro.
He just shoved the Prime Minister out of the way and then acted like nothing happened, all that Donald was just adjust his suit and then started conversing with the world leader standing beside this poor Montenebro, that’s the official term for a male from Montenegro, not just their Prime Minister. The main hobbies of Montenebros are having bromances, wearing manscara and eating brioche, which they call broiche.
How about if you are about to do something but then someone else decides to remind you to that same task that you were just about to do without any solicitation? Well you then refuse to do it, you and the other person get into a court case that last many years, you lose the court case but that court case has left you in such financial ruin that you don’t need to do the task any more. Then that person will learn not to remind you to do something because they see that a person can face financial and mental turmoil due to being asked to do a task. And who really wants that on their head?
An a related note to that someone let’s say at work may keep saying a repetitive thing that really digs into your soul like, “what about that weather eh?” If so what you could do is record the audio of the weather report from the previous night, let’s say from either One News, which is normally the first 20 minutes of the bulletin, or +Hr=E n=w5 and then when they ask,” Hows about them weathers?”, you just play the audio recording from your phone. Rather than being offended that person will appreciate that you are not a luddite but that will also mean if they want a verbal answer to that question from now on, that is not an audio recording, they’ll have to go elsewhere. Yippee for you, boo for them.
If you’re in the kitchen about to pour yourself a cup of water but someone is blocking your access to the bench or sink while they are making their coffee and you can’t handle it, this is what you do. You then make the coffee for them, they think it’s generous of you but here’s the kicker, you make it really bad. They then taste that coffee but they have to be diplomatic to you because you did them a “favour.” So that will teach them to hurry the hell up next time or be subjected to your crappy coffee making skills.
Just when you thought I was struggling to come up with one more annoying situation that I could come up with a solution for, you would be correct.
